Nori appeared to become separate from Dio when it was heavily dissociated from an Eyes of Heaven analysis on 10.6.2015, and immediately tried to start a fight with Dio. It became apparent they were a subsystem for at least a few months before then, as Dio identified as Kakyoin for a time before then. After several months of Dio doing its best to ignore Noriaki, he was able to stand on his own.
